Epping’s new $60 million luxury residential tower Jardine Residences by Luxcon Group, has received development approval from the Sydney West Joint Regional Planning Panel, with construction to commence at the end of the month.
Located in Epping’s rezoned Town Centre precinct, the high-rise project is Luxcon Group’s first Limited Edition Collection line and offers 56 apartments across 22 floors.
Luxcon Property Group Managing Director Ilya Melnikoff said the approval was received just as the project hit $37 million in pre-sales following strong local buyer interest.
“As soon as we launched Jardine to the market in November 2015, sales have been strong, and now that we have DA approval, construction can start, which is set to boost market confidence,” Mr Melnikoff said.
“The approval is a positive step forward for the property sector and for Epping, which is set to grow and become a key location within Sydney.
“Over the past ten years, property prices in Epping have more than doubled and are beginning to creep closer and closer to the million-dollar mark that we’re already seeing in inner-city suburbs.
“Luxcon is aiming to redefine apartment living in Epping with what is set to be the most prestigious projects in the area to date. The building boasts a unique façade, offers predominantly two to three apartments per floor, and has sweeping views of the city skyline and district. Inside, residents will enjoy lavish interiors with bespoke finishes and an extensive selection of recreational facilities.
“When the market is paying close to $1million for a unit, like at Jardine, buyers deserve access to the level of quality that is on offer in the inner-city. Purchasing at Jardine offers a point of difference in product currently on offer in the area, with values sure to grow as a result.”
Mr Melnikoff said Epping’s buyer appeal was fuelled by new infrastructure investments that improve amenities and access.
“Epping has seen capital gains on property reach 11.76 per cent over the past year, and with the rezoning of the Town Centre, more amenity and infrastructure will become available, which will see Epping’s buyer appeal increase even more.
“With Hornsby Council investing millions of dollars in the Epping Town Centre, as well as the $550 million M2 and $8.3 billion North West Rail Link upgrades, astute buyers recognise the investment potential of the area while prices are still competitive.
“The majority of our buyers are owner-occupiers. These are Epping locals who see the value of buying early in a suburb they know and love and that’s about to be transformed to meet Sydney’s future growth needs.”
With one-bedroom apartments starting from just $710,000, Jardine combines peaceful suburban living with inner-city style.
